About the job

 

• This position will work closely with other local team members, regional colleagues, and possibly with clients to deliver projects.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Sitecore platform

• Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions that are aligned with client business objectives

• Develop custom solutions and interfaces leveraging the Sitecore platform

• Manage technical delivery of development, integrations, and data migration elements of Sitecore implementations

• Manage technical scopes and client expectations

• Provide hands-on, expert-level technical assistance to developers

• Conduct code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being used

• Be a credible subject matter expert to clients and partners on sales cycles and marketing events

• Provide detailed estimates and participate in sales solutions and proposal creation

• Own responsibility for the ongoing technical development of developers on Sitecore projects Interview potential candidates as needed

• Coach and mentor junior developers and configurators

 

Qualifications

 

• 8+ years of experience with object oriented design & programming skills using .NET technologies

• 6+ years of Web Content Management System experience (CQ5/AEM, Umbraco, SharePoint, Kentico, Sitefinity, or Windows Azure)

• 4+ years of Sitecore platform experience (with Sitecore certification on version 7 or later)

• Strong background in design and development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software product lifecycle

• Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems

• Understanding of traditional waterfall and agile software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Rational Unified Process, Lean Software Development

• Excellent client-facing written and oral communications skills

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Hadoop, etc.) and of Web Service architectures
