Our client is a leading online financial services provider offering various financial and investment products.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

• Give accurate and timely counsel to business in a variety of legal matters

• Draft and review agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights

• Research and evaluate different legal matters regarding business decisions and operations

• Advise Company on any new laws, regulations or statues, which will have impact on its business operations and corporate functions

• Familiar with Indonesian law system and maintain current knowledge of alternations in Financial legislation, especially in FinTech

• Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice to management on possible legal issues or new regulations impacting the company

• Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external legal counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for businesses.

 

Qualifications

 

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Law Major, having the license to practice law is preferable, experienced as an attorney/lawyer would be an advantage

• Required language(s): English and Bahasa Indonesia, Chinese (preferable)

• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position, a candidate who has the financial background, especially FinTech is preferable

• Required Skill(s): legal opinion, research, corporate law, document drafting and reviewing, contract law

• Having working experience in financial industry, Fintech is preferred.
