Title: Consultant

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, D1

Working Hours: 9:00-18:00, Monday to Friday

Report to: Country Manager, Vietnam

Salary: Highly competitive salary together with a lucrative performance-based bonus scheme.



  • Act as the leader in recruitment procedure including position advertisement, search qualified candidates in the methods of talents pool, the Internet or cold call, recommendations, telephone screening etc.

  • Connecting with passive candidates via networking and referrals from current/past talent and candidates

  • Consultants in Searchplus are responsible for winning senior-level executive search assignments, representing Searchplus in the marketplace, and executing assignments to the highest standards of quality.

  • Manage our Research analysts who are active members of client service teams, gathering, synthesizing, and presenting information and data associated with client engagements and market opportunities.

  • Combine industry expertise, professional services skills, and the ability to advocate on behalf of clients, candidates and the firm for the advancement of client and firm interests.

  • It is required for every consultant in Searchplus to develop in-depth knowledge of given industry sectors and/or functional specialities. This includes gaining awareness of current news and issues, developing a perspective on competitive landscapes, understanding market influences, tracking share performance and explaining relevant trends.

  • The Consultant is responsible for managing client engagements across all phases of the leadership search process. Consultants are responsible for interacting and establishing relationships with industry leaders, candidates, and clients. Internally, the Consultant is an acknowledged expert of the executive search process and he or she is also responsible for mentoring and develop junior colleagues. 



  • Must be fluent in Vietnamese, both written and oral

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are a must.

  • Ideal qualifications include at least 3 years of working experience in industry and/or in senior-level executive search; experience in consulting and/or working in a consultative role where multiple projects and competing demands are the norm; and proven business development ability, especially within the services sector, that has led to long-term relationships with clients/customers.

  • Excellent project management skills – ability to manage multiple projects at once

  • Analytical skills, organised and methodical with a questioning style.

  • Excellent spirit as demonstrated by high level of collaboration and a willingness to go the extra mile, supplemented by curiosity, energy, maturity and self-confidence

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with people at all levels within the organisation, as well as with candidates and clients

  • Self-starter, who is able to deliver to deadlines whilst multi-tasking.

  • Creative thinker, flexible and high integrity

  • Resilient and attention to detail is essential.

  • Strong IT skills covering MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
