WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Searchplus is looking for candidates with a sharp intellect, problem-solving skills, leadership skills, great teamwork and collaborative abilities as well as an ability to make substantial impact. We are looking for a positive, passionate and pro-active student or recent graduate with ideally (not a must) a Bachelor or Master’s Degree (or equivalent) from any of the following disciplines – HR, Business, Psychology, or equivalent. Candidates shall be ambitious, highly motivated, result oriented and share our passion for people – and for life. We want people with a willingness to adapt, learn and advance in fast-changing environments.

 

Title: Research Analyst Intern

Location: Kuala Lumpur (Need to be flexible with travel to Shanghai)

Starting date: ASAP

Hours: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM – Monday to Friday

Future: Could lead to a fulltime role for the right individual.

 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE

  • Assist in recruitment procedure including position advertisement, search qualified candidates in the methods of talents pool, Internet or cold call, recommendations, telephone screening, list building and various industry/candidate mapping assignments.

  • Connecting with passive candidates via networking and referrals from current/past talent and candidates

  • Promote our job opportunities and recruitment related news on LinkedIn, Company website and other social media channels.

  • Our analysts are active members of client service teams, gathering, synthesizing, and presenting information and data associated with client engagements and market opportunities.

  • At the beginning of each assignment, they assist in the development of the search strategy, including constructing company target lists, researching candidate profiles and matching necessary competencies to executive experience, drawing from internal, external and contracted resources.

  • Writing of candidate reports, conduct reference check, prepare related files for clients and follow up with candidates

  • Analysts can be included on business development activities and are encouraged to develop in-depth knowledge of given industry sectors and/or functional specialities. This includes gaining awareness of current news and issues, developing a perspective on competitive landscapes, understanding market influences, tracking share performance and explaining relevant trends.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Fluency in Chinese, both written and oral is not a must but an advantage

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing in English

  • Excellent project management skills – ability to manage multiple projects at once

  • Analytical skills, organised and methodical with a questioning style.

  • An entrepreneurial mind-set combined with the ability to take the initiative, work independently and drive implementation

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with people at all levels within the organisation.

  • Proactively present recommendations and ideas on how to improve existing business processes

  • Adaptive to frequent changes in priorities, organization and strategy and ability to handle deadlines with short lead times

  • Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities is a plus.

  • Absolute self-starter with hands-on work ethics

  • Strong IT skills covering MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Availability for a 3-6 months internship
